Hello & welcome to Bunney & Thread!

 

I'm Rachel and I'm here to help you with all of your sewing and embroidery questions, issues, dilemmas, sticking points, queries and quandaries!

During my 10 years working as one of only two product specialists for Brother Sewing Machines UK, I visited many independent sewing shops and met thousands of creative people, all wanting to learn more about their machines and to ask advice about their sewing or embroidery projects.

​

I would offer 1:1 and group tuition - whatever was needed - but I always felt I couldn't give enough help as I was travelling so much around the country. Customers always wanted me to come back sooner than I was able to, so they could learn even more.

​

I became a mum in March 2020 - so not only did the world change but my life changed dramatically at the same time. Once my maternity leave ended and with everything moving more online, I made the leap to launch Bunney & Thread to provide sewing and embroidery tuition for anyone struggling or needing guidance with their machines or software, with the aim to be able to give as much help as customers needed.

To keep my own creativity in check, I also love making gifts for friends and family, and sometimes a bit of dressmaking for myself too - if toddler Bunney allows!
